Has spent 25 years as a Design Management consultant before training in Theology and founding Ministry at Work in 2012. She spends her time supporting the chaplaincy team, leading retreats for busy professionals, researching into all thing’s wellbeing. Her passion is for people to flourish at work and feel fulfilled. Never says no to a sea view, a mooch around an art gallery and a natter over tea and cake.
A business consultant, with expertise in project, quality and information security management. During her working life, she observed that people had a tendency to open up to her and share their worries about life; so, began her exploration into Chaplaincy. Having served as a Magistrate for the last 13 years, she also has a strong sense of fairness and justice. Her first love is her cat Penelope, her partner and all things countryside!
Has spent his career in property on many levels. Director of Glebe and Church Buildings Strategy he is also the Chaplain to the staff at Lichfield Diocese. A natural extrovert, he enjoys getting alongside people both at work and in his local village where he is well known- and the dog! Recently recovered from a long term illness he has a natural empathy with those transitioning back into work.
A Trustee and Chaplain spent his formative years in Law. He is now studying for a PHD in Person Centred Counselling whilst supporting people at the end of their lives as a Hospice Chaplain. He offers support to professional services sector businesses through Ministry at Work and supports our retreats. Passionate about music, the arts and all things Scottish he is often found lunching at the New Vic his home in the city.
Has spent his career in accountancy, running businesses and latterly before retirement lecturing at Staffordshire University and MMU. Specialising in small business development he understands the ups and downs of getting a new idea off the ground. He has been a Lay Reader at Trentham Church for the last 4 years and loves reading, writing and watching films. A self-confessed football addict, he is missing the live action of the match!
A Trustee and Chaplain with a passion for the agricultural sector. He has worked with thought leaders, farmers, MP’s and Govt relating to agriculture and is the NFU advisor for Staffordshire. He has a unique way of being alongside those who may be feeling isolated or lonely, yet can get involved on all the practical fronts too. You will find Jeremy hiking across the Long Mynd with his two trusty dogs.
A Trustee and Chaplain, has spent his career in surveying. Now retired he is a part time Chaplain to business. During his career he noticed the HR dept would always recommend him to be there at people’s lowest points, a role he relished. Now offering his own style of listening and care into the ceramics sector in Stoke. He never says no to a challenging walk up mountains, is the Chair of his local walking club, and a keen collector of maps.
A business advisor and has helped hundreds of small businesses launch across Staffordshire during his career. Pete is also a Chaplain within the business community. A keen lover of gardening and the county side he is often spotted on his bike between Leek and Stoke along the canal towpath.
A partner Chaplain with us. From Nigeria, via Finland where he worked in education, he joined the YMCA in Stoke in 2019. A natural encourager, with a gift of counselling he is enjoying getting to know the young people and management alike. He is often found walking in the local park and getting used to the extremes of the UK weather.
