Every business is different! Our Chaplains can work with you in various ways, depending on your needs.

We have Chaplains who have trained with us and are a member of your staff team. Chaplains who have specialist knowledge for example in the area of bereavement, or who have counselling experience.

Some of our Chaplains come into the business weekly, others are there to compliment the mental health first aiders and wellbeing team.

All of our team work in total confidence and can be trusted to support both staff and management.

Whatever your situation at work we always begin by listening to you, and from there we can tailor make a solution that works for your business.

Wellbeing at work

Wellbeing and mental health have finally found their way into mainstream language and for good reason, we all like to be well and enjoy life!

However, we are at work a very long time, 30 or 40 years perhaps, and during that time life can be unpredictable. We juggle home and work, children and parents, ourselves and our friendships. Life events can affect us, change, illness, bereavement, loss, moving home and much more. Depending on our makeup we can react in many ways and when things get too much, its often a listening ear and some kindness that can really help us along the way.

Retreats

Over the years we have introduced one day to one week retreats for busy professionals. The chance to get away with no interruptions and to have the time simply to be. Be still, calm, quiet, well fed, nurtured by nature, often with walking involved.

We have visited Yorkshire, Northumberland, Iona, Spain and Israel/Palestine.

Some retreats are a chance to discover new things, sometimes its all about being in the group and learning together, and always it’s a rich and memorable experience.

Talks and courses

During the pandemic we have had to curtail our programme and focus on the immediate needs of business, we plan to get back to offering more when life returns to a more normal pace

Stronger Together

Connecting up with others and offering time and care to each other makes us strong. We are weak when we are alone. The pandemic has shown us just how much we need each other. This cuts across all sectors of society and all organisations, this is why offering a safe space to talk and share can make a huge difference. It’s true a problem shared is a problem halved.

We don’t have a magic wand but we do have patience and care in spades.
